Adoption Information

All of Little Ophan's animals are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered prior to adoption, treated with flea/tick preventative, dewormed, heartworm tested/preventative as age appropriate AND microchipped.   We would like potential adopters to understand that while our adoption fees do not cover these costs, they do help to keep our adoption program going!

Adoption fees will vary depending on many different factors to include, but not limited to, age, breed, special needs, medical costs, etc.  Each animal's adoption fee is included in their listing.

If you are interested in adopting any of our precious pals, please click on "Adoption Form"  at the top of the website in the navigation, then fill out the Adoption Application and submit!   If you have difficulties with our online form, please email loarinc@gmail.com and we would be happy to send you an application.

PLEASE GET CLEARED BY YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE ADOPTING A PET***

***WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT OF STATE***

***Please be informed, that adopters need to be at least 21 years of age, or a homeowner if under 21.  Proof of ownership may be required***

***Current pets must be spayed or neutered and current on vaccinations.***


***LOAR will check with landlords for approval of pets in rental homes/apartments/condos, etc.***

 

We are all volunteers working full time jobs in addition to our rescue work.  Please be patient if it takes a couple of days for us to get back to you.  We do try to respond promptly, but our first priority on a daily basis is the care of our animals.
